VIRTUAL CBCMUN VII attendants and crew. It is the greatest honor for me to be CBCMUN’s seventh Secretary General. Last year, as Director General, I had the chance to be a leader of the first Virtual Model of United Nations in Colombia. Now, CBCMUN VII is the result of an immense work. With even more experience, compromise, and determination to demonstrate that the power of change is within us. I couldn’t be move happy to conduct the team that made this event possible, perfectly reflecting the spirit of our School and our Model. A spirit of reinvention, hope, hard work, dedication, and leadership. I truly believe that, as Mahatma Gandhi once said, we must become the change that we want to see in the world. This MUN, as we know, is occurring during a new phase of the pandemic, and in and moment in which the Colombian and the International societies, must come together and grow fraternally. Therefore, dear delegates, all my admiration for participating in CBCMUN and for working, step by step, discussion by discussion, to modify, and use our power to change. For all of you, I wish the best and hope that this Model helps you become those agents of change humanity needs. After months of team-achieved effort, I am proud to say that this virtual dream is a reality; and that it would not be possible without all of you. To my logistics, press, and redaction teams, for your dedication, sacrifice and the way you decidedly accepted this challenge of professionalizing our Model, I only have left to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. To my Sponsor, Director General, Chief of Academic Staff and presidents, my deepest admiration and gratitude for building up marvelous ideas and the highest academic preparation we have ever had. Finally, to our CBC directives, thank you for believing in this project from the very first moment. For all, now, more than ever: it is time to show that the power of change is within us! Best of regards and see you soon at VIRTUAL CBCMUN VII!
